Victor Merezhko Up to 15 years old Victor Merezhko lived in the Rostov region. And then together with his parents moved to Ukraine. There, the guy learned Ukrainian and graduated from a local school. However, he failed to enter the coveted Kyiv Polytechnic University.

At first Merezhko worked as a woodcutter, and then went to work. But a few years later, Viktor Ivanovich returned to Ukraine, namely to Lviv. There he graduated from the Ivan Fedorov Ukrainian Polygraphic Institute. And then went to his homeland, where he began to work in the publishing house as an engineer-technologist.





But Merezhko’s ambitions did not allow him to stay in one place for a long time. He entered VGIK and as a student shot the first short film “Zarechen grooms” according to his own script. It was thanks to the script work that Viktor Ivanovich managed to loudly declare himself.

According to his scripts, more than 60 films were shot, as well as 12 cartoons. The most famous of them are the film “Homeland” by Nikita Mikhalkov, the film “Flights in Dreams and Reality” by Roman Balayan and “Lonely Woman Wants to Meet” by Vyacheslav Krishtofovich.

I believe that cinema should and can educate people at all times. It is impossible to live and work solely for money. It seems to me that love is the main ideology that should be adhered to, creating scripts and shooting new films, Viktor Ivanovich said.

Personal life of Victor Merezhko Merezhko said that respecting a woman, you need to respect her to the end. However, this did not prevent him from occasionally cheating on his wife Tamara Vadimovna. When Viktor Ivanovich began to torment his conscience, he decided to repent, writing the script for the film “Forgive.”





In this film, Merezhko himself and his daughter Maria, who followed in the footsteps of her father, starred. She became an actress and screenwriter. Also, Viktor Ivanovich has a son named Ivan, he works as a decorator.
