Difficult tasks so that the mind does not rust with the years

Addressing complex challenges Mathematics is a great warm-up for the mind. And in this way, a person not only keeps the brain in tone, but also improves his mathematical abilities. These skills will definitely be useful in life. And not only in those rare moments when you help your child do his homework.

First of all, mathematics teaches you to think. This is one of the few subjects that teach to analyze and build conclusions, train logic and hone the skill to argue their position. All this is necessary for children and adults.

So today's editorial office. "Site" It offers a few difficult problems, over the solution of which each reader will have to think carefully. But the better it will be to find the right answer and make sure you're in perfect order with math.

Addressing complex challenges
  1. For warm-up as the first task, we offer interesting examples that seem to be solved completely wrong. But if you look more broadly at these lines, you will find some pattern. The fourth example is not difficult to solve. You okay?

  2. Did you manage? Then we offer a few other examples, where after the sign of equality again some strange numbers are indicated. What is the logic behind the numbers? If you can answer this question, then finding the key to this problem will not be difficult.

  3. And finally, we propose to solve a simple example, which for many people is a difficult task. Check how well you remember the rules of mathematics to give the right answer. And if you doubt whether you managed to solve correctly, then look at the second part of the article, where we will try to find the right solutions.

Solving problems
  1. If you look closely at the first three examples, a lot will become clear. After the equal sign, the difference and sum of numbers from the left side of the equations are consistently recorded. 9 – 2 = 7, and 9 + 2 = 11. Then for example with 12 and 3 need 12 – 3 = 9, and 12 + 3 = 15. So the answer is 915.

  2. In the second example, the pattern is more complex, but here you can find the answer. The number after the equal sign is equal to the product of numbers from the left side of the example, then it was multiplied by 2 and added 1. For example, the solution for the first example would be 2 * (2 * 3) + 1 = 13. Then the last example is solved by the same principle: 2 * (8 * 9) + 1 = 145.
  3. If you remember from school that multiplication and division should be done first, then an example will not baffle you. Therefore 7 + (7 / 7) + (7 * 7) - 7 = 7 + 1 + 49 - 7 = 50.

I hope your answers are the same. But if not, then hurry to write in the comments your version. Perhaps we made a mistake and approached the solution of one of the problems from the wrong side.
