Who is required to take training courses for health workers

Very little is left until the time when the new system of qualification confirmation works. Accreditation is required for all medical professionals and pharmacists.
Up to this time, the implementation of the accreditation system has been gradual. The first were accredited graduates of medical universities, as well as pharmacists. There has been a special accreditation exam for them since 2016. The phased accreditation system provides that not all employees will take such an exam until 2021. Namely:
  • graduates of medical and pharmaceutical universities;
  • Specialists undergoing training or residency.
In 2019, all those medical specialists who completed residency training in six areas were accredited. In 2019, advanced training courses for health workers were held in cardiology, neurological, pediatric, therapeutic and oncological specialties.
That is, such requirements apply to doctors who, after 1.01.2019, have undergone advanced training of medical workers, developed on the basis of qualification requirements that fully meet the standards of higher education. In addition, all those specialists who complete retraining courses in all the above specialties will be accredited. The certificate is provided by the accreditation center based on the results of the exam.

How to prepare for the exam
The accreditation exam takes place in several stages. First, the doctor undergoes testing, then half an hour is given to perform a practical task, after which the situational tasks are performed. Important: Medicare staff does not perform situational tasks. Further, the site publishes the results of accreditation, where a medical worker can find out he will receive a certificate, or have to go for re-registration.
In case of failure within 5 days, you must apply for a second exam, otherwise the health worker will be considered such that he did not pass accreditation.
For accreditation, such documents are provided:
  • statement;
  • a copy of identity documents;
  • portfolio and report on his medical activities for 5 years, information on achievements, participation in conferences, professional development;
  • a copy of the certificates, if any;
  • a copy of the workbook;
  • copy of educational documents;
  • insurance policy.
Next, it is necessary to prepare for accreditation and obtain a document.
