The inhabitants of the Islands in the Delta of the paraná river
Argentine photographer Alejandro Castelberg (Alejandro Chaskielberg) lived on Islands of Delta of Parana river in Argentina for three years. He began to observe how people live and work in a natural environment, where the main element is water. Every day that a photographer crossed the river on a boat, met the locals on the Wharf, the store, at the gas station. This resulted in a series of night portraits that convey a visual and poetic impression on the lives of people surrounded by water.
