Created Wallpapers to protect Wi-Fi network

Researchers of the Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble came up with an original idea on how to prevent hacking wifi network using a special Wallpaper, not allowing the radio waves to leave the premises. A working prototype was presented in late April, reported on may 4, L INFORMATICIEN.

"Today's consumer wireless network is protected, which, in General, can be rather easily hacked. If you cover the walls of the office or apartment, your Wi-Fi works fine, but can not be hacked from the outside," explains researcher of the Institute Pierre auger Lemaitre, the developer of the product.

Wallpaper was created in close collaboration with a team of 4 people from the Centre Technique du Papier. The Wallpaper applied to the special patterns of silver "special crystalline structure". Later, after gluing, the Wallpaper can be painted at your discretion, that they do not lose their useful properties.

Such a miracle-the Wallpaper will not only help in protecting the wireless network, but can and will be used as a shield from electromagnetic smog of modern cities-could plaster the walls of hospitals, theaters or bedrooms. Will also be developed coatings for blinds, flooring and ceilings.

And, of course, an interesting question price. It promises to be "a reasonable equivalent to the price of a classic Wallpaper mid-level". The exclusive license to manufacture owns the Finnish company AHLSTROM, who promised that the novelty will go on sale in early 2013.
