Unique forest with bent trees

In a tiny corner of Western Poland is an amazing forest of about 400 pine trees grow with 90-degree bends in their trunks, leaning to the North. Surrounded by a larger forest of straight growing pine trees, this curved forest of crooked trees is a mystery. Planted in approximately 1930, the trees managed to grow for 7 to 10 years before being retained human mechanical intervention. Some locals believe that it was handmade special carpenters of the German forces in the 1930s for use in hulls of boats and furniture. But the trees were never used because of the chaos that occurred when world war II broke out in 1939.

Although actually, why did it take so many curved trees remains a mystery. Some say trunks are used for furniture, building constructions, art/sculpture. But all these assumptions are just as controversial as the conspiracy theory. Curved Forest located in the outskirts of Nowe Czarnowo, West Pomerania province.
