Paleontologists discovered predatory shrimp Bashny.Net

A group of paleontologists has recently been was an unusual find. To her surprise they found a perfectly preserved part of the brain of fossil invertebrate anomalocaris having high similarity with the shrimp. A creature with jointed body, a length not to exceed twelve inches, was found near the South Australian coast.

To the surprise of the scientists the age of the anomalous shrimp is almost five hundred million years, and their first finding was dated to the end of the nineteenth century. The latest discovery of scientists completely and totally clarified the existence of family ties between these mysterious animals, the former previously completely unknown to science.

Prawns with abnormal body structure, large eyes, and characteristic of their body subordinate to the head, is extremely rare in representatives of the insect world, said in his conclusion experts of the research team.
