A real mother will never give her child offense and will do everything to keep her child alive and healthy. For nearly half an hour, visitors to the Olare Motorogi Conservancy Kicheche Bush Camp in Kenya watched the mother of a newborn giraffe crush and throw away the pride of a group of young lions. The giraffe's mom was very serious, and protecting her baby, she would stop at nothing. Realizing this, none of the lions ever ventured to attack them. So the lions had to find something else for lunch.
