Dark matte office to the volcanic Park

Portuguese architectural Bureau Oto Arquitectos built the headquarters of the natural Park on the island of Fogo in the Republic of Guinea-Bissau. Located in the middle of a barren volcanic landscape, the building fits perfectly into the surrounding landscape due to its monumental form and a dark matte shade of the walls. In the absence nearby of any engineering networks of the object relies solely on offline resources: electricity is provided by solar panels and water is collected via rainwater tanks.
