Cumulus high in the trees — a space for peace

German students create a cloud-like structure high in the trees.

Students of the German University Jordi, Iranzo, Stephanie, and Nadine Box, Casting( Jordi Iranzo, Stefanie Rittler, Nadine Kesting) was created like the cloud thing because they came up with the idea to create something that the perception will be similar to the feeling of soaring in the clouds, but still inside the cloud.

Jordi, Iranzo, Stephanie, and Nadine Box, Casting want people experienced a new experience with their translucent plant in Halle, Germany (Halle, Germany) named Cumulus, a space for tranquility (Space for Calm). Permeable structure of the fabric allows moisture to leave the space in which and set design, in the picturesque village high in the trees, close to the University of Art and Design in Halle (University of Art and Design).

The design is raised above the ground with metal legs and shrouded in a stretchy perforated material that exposes visitors to rain. Structure made of tubular steel frame that can be easily disassembled. Leather made from breathable, breathable polyester, made by German textile company 3DEA, a space that is accessed via a rope ladder which accompanies visitors right in the center of a white circular platform.

The design shows the shadow people that inhabit the space. Night, a series of unshaded lamps set on a metal Hoop around the ceiling. They emit a soft light that casts shadows, making the fabric responds to the movement of people in the room. The design was installed at the time of graduation, and maybe she will tour various museums, galleries and festivals.
