In Finland have begun testing unmanned buses

In Helsinki (capital of Finland) began testing two buses, traveling independently, without a driver.

It is reported that testing is conducted on public roads in conjunction with other members of the movement. This is one of the first such tests.

Passengers are transported compact buses EZ10, designed by the French company EasyMile. These vehicles can take on Board up to 12 people. They move on a pre-laid in memory of the route and avoid obstacles and respond to contingencies help of lidar, cameras, navigation system with improved accuracy of GPS signals, and various on-Board sensors.

Mini-buses EZ10 don't have the helm. In motion, they are driven electric power plant. During the test the speed will not exceed 10 km/h, so these cars ply the short routes.

If testing proves successful, robotic buses can become part of the existing system of passenger transport in Finland. Such machines could deliver passengers from the train stations to the traditional stops of public transport. published
