Photographer New York Caleb Cain Marcus was more than 2, 500 kilometers along the Ganges River, stopping along the way to take some pictures of this sacred river for Hindus. His series of photographs entitled "Goddess" has been created in an attempt to understand why it is the Ganges River has become a center of pilgrimage and has a great significance for the Hindus.
