Zoopolis 500 - the slowest race in the world

Turtle races that are held in the US city of Indianapolis is probably not such a fascinating spectacle as car racing. They do not have the speed, drive, adrenaline. On the contrary, race are very decorous and noble. But families with children every year look forward to racing Zoopolis 500.

Recently, the Indianapolis Zoo arranged turtle races. The annual event has become a jubilee, the 30th in a row. Five turtles were fighting for the main prize - a plate of fruit. Opponents are named after famous racers IndyCar: Dan Wheldon, de Silvestro, Alex Tagliani, Ed Carpenter and Scott Dixon.

Turtles have begun the slow race, completely ignoring all the excitement and encouragement in their address. They even managed to escape several times in the wrong direction, but managed to get back on track with the help of zookeepers.

The winner of the race was Dan Wheldon. Having lunch fruit, turtle remained completely happy. Spectators also have noticed this as a sign that the real Dan Wheldon also won this year.
