The Pirate Bay co-founder Peter Sunde was arrested in Sweden



co-founder and former spokesman for The Pirate Bay, was arrested on May 31 in the south of Sweden, near the city of Malmo. Peter Sunde of more than two and a half years, is wanted by Interpol on the case of The Pirate Bay.

The final term of imprisonment was defined in 2012, when the Supreme Court of Sweden refused peresmetrivat the verdict on The Pirate Bay. But Peter Sunde continued to struggle at first in the European Court of Human Rights, and then get out there refused, again in the Supreme Court. In May 2014 the latter again dismissed his appeal.

According to TorrentFreak, Peter Sunde lived in Germany, periodically coming to Sweden where he still had relatives. In recent years, Peter has worked on protected messenger Hemlis and was co-founder of the micropayment service Flattr.
Peter Sunde now likely face imprisonment for a term of 8 months prescribed by the court.
