Highest blank wall in the world

New York is known for its skyscrapers. Every year, crowds of tourists flock here to see the city from a bird's eye view. But there is a building height of 29 floors, in which there is a single window.

At Thomas Street, is located 33 «AT & T Long Lines Building», it was built in 1974. This is a prime example of the brutality in the architecture - no windows, just not too pleasant look naked gray concrete.

The main purpose of the building was placement of telephone equipment. The average height of the floor - 5, 5 meters, which is much more than the usual high-rise building. The floors are incredibly durable - can withstand at 90-140 kg per square meter.

On the tenth and 29th floors there are six large air ducts - the only opening to the outside. Many believe «AT & T Long Lines Building» one of the safest buildings in the world, capable of even two weeks after the nuclear explosion to save the fallout of those who will be inside. Also, it is known as the highest blank wall in the world. Here's a rather unusual tourist attraction.
