The ancient history of the Kola has been little studied, there is a lot of white spots. And that still managed to find, are still not fully understood. In addition, the expedition is conducted too little. In the late '70s, they stopped to come here. The majority of the expeditions were not historical and geological character. They sought not ancient artifacts, and metal deposits. However, there are legends that are passed by word of mouth. I was able to listen and write down a few of them.

Sami believe that "Two Brothers" - a mighty giants Noida (sorcerers) Kiiperi-Ukko and Akka-Kiiperi that 10 thousand years ago ruled in these parts. They are here as a punishment for the evil they caused.
