Pink Mosque in Shiraz

Architectural sights of the Qajar dynasty, the ruling in Iran from 1795 to 1925, the mosque is a pink or Nasir al-Mulk in Shiraz. Its construction was begun in 1876 and completed in twelve years. The interior is decorated with colorful mosaics in traditional oriental style. Instead of the usual windows are installed stained glass windows. In sunny weather they cast colorful shadows on the walls and floor of the mosque, creating an atmosphere of a kaleidoscope.
