Gen. affected by the Fukushima nuclear
Photographer Phyllis B. Dunya illuminates the life of the Japanese refugees who had fled from the infected area after the accident in Fukushima, which happened as a result of the earthquake and tsunami March 11, 2011. Comments photographer: "In Fukushima was a large man-made disaster. In mid-April last the authorities began the forced evacuation of Tomioka and Kawauchi, who by that time had not yet left these areas. Almost a year later, about 80 thousand refugees live in temporary housing set by the government. Often, they are located just outside the restricted area, and a larger percentage of their residents are elderly, physically or mentally handicapped people. " In this post are pictures of these refugees, made in August of last year and in the last few days.
