Queen Elizabeth II of England 60 years on the throne (19 photos)

60 years ago on February 6, 1952 in Sandringham, in the dream died of lung cancer English King George VI. And ascended the throne the current Queen Elizabeth II.

Official celebrations to mark the Diamond Jubilee will take place in June 2012. And on February 8 in Victoria and Albert Museum will open an exhibition of photographs of the Queen and her family made famous photographer Cecil Beaton (Cecil Beaton).
