Russian hero: Alex Voivod!

Professional bobsledder Alex Voivod began in 2002, at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Voivod, together with Philippe Egorov, Alexey Selivyorstova and Alexander Zubkov in the crew-quartet won the silver medal.

At the Olympic Games 2010 in Vancouver as part of the crew of two with Zubkov won the bronze medal. After the Olympics, Alex Voivod announced his retirement bobsledder, but said that he remains in the sport.
Alex Voivod resumed his career bobsledder to prepare for the performance at the Olympic Games in Sochi, just a month before the start.



At the Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi won two gold medals - in the crew of two-headed by Alexander Zubkov and the crew just four-headed Zubkov.
