Creation Keng Lye

Singaporean artist Keng Lai (Keng Lye) creates a three-dimensional works of art from acrylic and epoxy resins. Her creations are on the borderline between painting and sculpture.





Using the method of gradual build-up of layers, the artist creates the illusion of depth. Looking for turtles, fish, octopi, floating in a dish, even on closer inspection it is difficult to believe that this is just a drawing. The process is time consuming, requires maximum patience and attention to detail. Each part consists of multiple layers. In general, the layers are carefully aligned sense of depth and life.
