Amazing Hopewell rocks in the Bay of Fundy

I present to you the amazing photos Hopewell Rocks, which is located near the shores of the Bay of Fundy.

These beautiful islands were formed by water erosion, which for thousands of years caused the tides. Large flows of water formed a beautiful coastline of the Gulf. Powerful tides in the Bay of Fundy have formed a unique ecosystem: the rocky cliffs, natural sandstone statues, abundance of whales and dolphins, porpoises and other animals and birds.

Hopewell Rocks are located in the Bay of Fundy, on the north-east of the Gulf of Maine, which washes the shores of the United States and Canada.

In the Bay of Fundy has the highest tides. Hopewell Rocks near the height of the tide can reach 16 meters.

At low tide the water can retreat to a distance of 5 km.

Twice a day on the Bay of Fundy demonstrated an amazing show, incomparable with anything else in the world. Huge tidal waves in the Bay are as much water as all the rivers of the world contain.

At the entrance to the bay waves rise to a height of 16 m. It is an amazing sight, supplemented by swash waves, raging rapids and whirlpools fierce.
