During the New Year holidays, the most important thing is a good mood. After all, then there will be a desire to decorate the tree, and buy gifts, and cook delicious food, and congratulate guests with invitations to send out.

We therefore hope that our present playfulness They will not only provide the necessary warm-up for the mind, but also create a good mood for our readers. And, of course, problems can be solved even with children. That'll make it even more interesting.

Funny challenges Challenge conditions
  1. In the first New Year's challenge, we will have to weigh the main wizard of the upcoming holidays - Santa Claus. In addition to him, you will also have to find the weight of a cute penguin and a smiling deer. We're going to need all this to solve the last example.

  2. The second task is also on the New Year theme. Here we have mittens, hats and a funny pig. What value is hidden behind each image and what number should be inscribed instead of a question mark? Be careful, because the objects in the picture are presented in various combinations. What is only worth a pig in a hat and with one mitten?

Problem-solving
  1. From the third example we can find that the weight of Santa Claus is only 165/3 = 55 kg. A little surprising, but what can you do? We need to move on. Therefore, from the first example, we find the weight of a deer: 215 – 55 = 160 kg. Then the weight of the elegant penguin will be 160 – 140 = 20 kg. Now we can represent the last example by numbers: 160 + 20 + 55 = 235. That’s how many pounds weigh all this fun company.

  2. From the first example it becomes clear that a pair of mittens 30 / 3 = 10. From here, one mitten is 5. Therefore, the piglet in the cap of the second example replaces (27 – 5) / 2 = 11. Let us now turn to the third example. From here we can find that the cap is 24 – 10 – 11 = 3. Therefore, the last example would look like this: (3 * 2) + (11 + 5) * (11 - 3) = 6 + 16 * 8 = 6 + 128 = 134.

  3. From the first example, we find that the polar bear 7 – 3 = 4. In the fourth example, the seal replaces 10 + 4 = 14. Therefore, from the third example, it becomes clear that a seal with a yellow nose is 14 – 3 = 11. The penguin is then 14/2 = 7. The last example is 11 + 7 – 4 = 14. So, instead of a question mark, a seal may well be located. Even then, equality will continue.

We hope that solving these fun problems was interesting, and we managed to find the right answers without assistance. Or did you have to work harder than the others?
