Electric car Opel Ampera-e appeared at the Paris Motor Show

Opel is showing off the all-electric Ampera-e car at the Paris Motor Show, the first information about which appeared in February this year.

The Ampera-e is a five-door hatchback. It is equipped with a single electric motor, which provides 204 horsepower. The torque is 360 Nm.

Acceleration from 0 to 50 km / h takes 3.2 seconds, to 100 km / h - about 7 seconds. Opel also notes that when driving at a speed of 80 km / h to 120 km / h, you can accelerate in 4.5 seconds, which will help in overtaking maneuvers.

The electric car is equipped with a block of lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 60 kWh. It is located in the bottom area, thanks to which it was possible to free up space for passengers and luggage. It is alleged that five people can be accommodated in the cabin.

The declared range on one charge in the NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) cycle exceeds 500 km. However, in practice, apparently, this figure will be no more than 400 km.

In the European market, a new electric car will appear next year. Opel’s battery pack warranty, created in partnership with LG Chem, will be eight years or 160,000 km.
