In Brooklyn build parks on abandoned industrial areas
Bushwick Inlet Park is the first project implemented an ambitious program for the reconstruction of the embankment of the East river in Brooklyn. It is a complex of sports facilities and administrative buildings, United in a single Park area of 25 000 sq. m. And this area is part of a roof surface that is planted green lawn, and, thus, all the territory of the Park accessible to visitors. The main building designed for the Department of Park facilities, built with the expectation of obtaining the LEED Silver (minimum), and equipped with solar panels, rainwater collection, and a number of other "green" components.
