Scientists created vaccine against heart attack

A group of scientists from the Institute of Harvard have successfully created the vaccine, affecting gene "PCSK9", located in the hematopoietic organ — the liver. Under the influence of drugs significantly reduced the level of cholesterol in the bloodstream.

Recall that cholesterol accumulates in blood vessels, is the main reason for the formation of the first symptoms of a heart attack. Note that the gene product was registered by a group of French scientists in 2003-m to year. It was then in the course of conducting research experiments on rodents, cholesterol was reduced by 40 percent and that's just a couple of days.

The leader of the pilot project became a Harvard Professor by the name of Kieran Munyoro, stressing that the mass application of the developed drug of a heart attack will begin no earlier than 2020.
