Solar panels for... donkeys

I bet almost all of us at the most inopportune moment completely dead phone. This is especially not fun when you need to send or receive mail, and sockets for the next couple of hundred metres is not expected.

A very unpleasant situation, agree. But some residents of Turkey found a way to solve this problem. They help the donkeys.

Village farmers in Turkey have invented probably the most innovative method to date in the field of wearable technology: solar powered donkeys.

A group of far-sighted shepherds in the province of Izmir, in Western Turkey, wanted to find a way to stay online during their long lonely farm visits. And what could be better, they thought, than using the latest advanced technologies of renewable energy, and transportation thereof to their well-known donkeys.

Donkeys can transport also communication equipment in remote areas, thus providing access not only to electricity but also to the Internet.

Farmers walking with their animals, helping to keep solar panels that can generate five to seven kilowatts of power.

When farmers get to your destination comfortably in the shadow cast by a solar panel, tired people will open their laptops to learn about the latest developments and to contact relatives.

Mobile phones typically use two to six watts while charging, so being in the correct position, the solar panel can generate enough energy to charge over 1000 mobile phones.

Continuing to live a simple life, now Turkish laborers will be able to always stay online and find out the necessary information to update the page on a social network or watch a new episode of your favorite series.

Farmers also claim that during the season of births panel is particularly useful, providing additional lighting.

Ser-Gün, a Turkish producer of solar panels, the most popular model is "plug and play", is 2800 Turkish liras (about $ 1332. USA).

"We strive to improve the daily life of a farmer in the countryside, adding comfort and ensuring environmental sustainability to the shepherds," says the company's Chairman Ugurluer tamer (Tamer Uğurluel).
