Flying has always been a relatively straightforward process. Arrived at the airport, bought a ticket, boarded the plane, and all is well. In recent years, obviously, all was not so simple – long queues, expensive, uncomfortable seats. Because the aircraft LILIUM, however, this will soon be avoided.
This electric two-seater is currently in development in Germany. Engineers claim that their offspring will need a pad 15 by 15 metres for take-off and landing. To pilot this machine, it will need license and 20 hours ' flying. The power the engine will not get from gasoline, and battery. Speeds of up to 400 km/h. cruising range on a single charge – 480 km away From new York you can get to Washington in less than an hour, and from Los Angeles to Monterey in a little over an hour.
