In Copenhagen, a new artistic attraction - the bridge called Tsirkelbroen (Cirkelbroen). It was designed by the Danish-Icelandic designer Olafur Eliasson and opened last month. The bridge crosses the Christianshavn Canal, connecting Kristiansbro with Appleby.

Footbridge 40 meters in length made from round five related platforms of various sizes, each of which has its own mast. Here the analogy with sailing boats crossing the numerous canals of Copenhagen. From the towers of the Special cables, complementing an ensemble project. One part of the bridge is adjustable, rotating and allowing large boats to pass unimpeded channel. Smaller boats can take place without problems under the raised platform Tsirkelbroen.

Instead of providing a direct path through the channel, the bridge follows the curve. This allows pedestrians to slow down and change the focus, highlighting the beauty of the bridge structure.

The bridge will allow residents and visitors to Copenhagen to follow the continuous route along the Inderhavn, greatly facilitating and reducing the movement path.

"But Cirkelbroen much more than just a bridge, or a work of art. This is a new landmark, tourist gathering place, a kind of observation point in the harbor, "says a press release of the Danish welfare fund Nordea, to finance the construction. Bridge Cirkelbroen, is expected to use about 5, 000 cyclists and pedestrians every day.
