In 2012, Russia will be the first diesel-solar power plant
Already this year, the group of companies "Renova" and the Ioffe Institute. AF Ioffe intend to implement in Russia, combined diesel-solar power plants. Partners designed with their help an autonomous system for areas with a high proportion of diesel generation. New help at times to reduce fuel costs. Place of residence is not yet selected, but considered the republic of Altai and Yakutia.
The structure of such a system will include about 500 thin-film solar modules from "Hevel" (DP "Renova") with a total peak power of 60 kW and two Italian Pramac diesel generator with a rated power of 43 kW each.
To unite the efforts of all these springs are inverter modules, transformers, fuses, control units as well as the buffer battery (70 Ah, 240).
The total capacity of the combined plant will exceed 100 kW. The share of solar panels should account for more than 70% of electricity generation.
According to the CEO "ROTEK" Mikhail Lifshitz, such hybrid systems - economically viable solution for areas with high levels of solar radiation. It is south of Russia, South-Eastern Siberia, Yakutia, Transbaikalia, the Far East. It is important that in these territories the cost of diesel generation of electricity is 30-40 rubles per kWh.
Based on the operating experience of the first sample, project partners intend to develop a "standard solution" for such stations. Special attention will be paid to experts increase capacity of thin-film modules.
NTC thin-film technologies in power at the Ioffe Institute. AF Ioffe intends to conduct a research project to improve the performance of such batteries. Developments on this same technology will be transferred to the production of "Hevel" Novocheboksarsk (Chuvashia).
