A city of contrasts

In the world there are some cities that are partially simultaneously on two continents. For example, in Kazakhstan, Atyrau is such a city, and in Egypt - Suez. There are Russian Magnitogorsk and Orenburg.





However, only Turkey has metropolis life and the territory which belong simultaneously to two continents: Europe and Asia. We have in mind that Istanbul - the only city of one million people, is located in two parts of the world. Naturally, he is rightly deemed the largest and "dvuhkontinentalnym" city on the planet. Line dividing the continents and the city is the Bosphorus. There is mixed not only culture but also tradition, religion, and much more. The population of the metropolis close to the mark of 15 million, and the Istanbul is the largest center of economy and culture in the region.
