Astronomers finally convinced to exit Voyager 1 in interstellar space

Even last year Habré publish news that «Voyager 1" was released in interstellar space. However, some scientists doubt still remained, but recently it has been proved that the spacecraft actually went out into interstellar space.

The thing is that Voyager 1 overtook another wave of "solar tsunami" generated by powerful solar flares. Interstellar space is filled with plasma, an ionized gas. All this in a quiet time can be imagined as the calm surface of the sea. But solar flare produces a kind of waves generated by "ripple" in the interstellar ocean. Sensors Voyager 1 fix all these disturbances, giving an idea of the earth scientists on the conditions prevailing in the region, which is now the machine.

plasma surrounding Voyager 1 is now much more dense (about 40 times) than it was in the solar system. This was first discovered in 2013, during a solar flare (flare occurred in March 2012, but the "solar tsunami" caught up with Voyager 1 is only one year and one month).

In addition, last year there was another release of the Sun, which was formed as a result of another wave, overtaken Voyager 1 in March of this year already. The device is again recorded a high density of the surrounding plasma.

Moreover, scientists have recently discovered that in late 2012 there was another coronary emission on the Sun, who initially went unnoticed. But after analyzing the data obtained previously turned out that during exposure to waves from this discharge plasma around the machine again show themselves. In general, scientists now have irrefutable evidence that Voyager 1 is in interstellar space.

And there is one interesting incident: Voyager 1 is in interstellar space, but formally this unit is still within the solar system. Finally, it will be assumed that the device has left the solar system when it will go beyond the "spheres of influence" of comets surrounding the sun. Nevertheless, the unit left the heliosphere, and it happened back in 2012.

Voyager 1 is now quite possible to call an unmanned starship, the first and only in the space fleet of mankind.
