Перу. Scissors Dance
Danza de las Tijeras is performed by residents of Quechua villages and communities in the south-central Andes in Peru, as well as by urban residents. During a performance, two or more teams face each other. Dancers should hit the blades of scissors in the rhythm in which the accompanying musicians play, while it is necessary not to forget about the choreographic duel, with elements of acrobatics and other complex movements.
