So there you go!

Since 1982 DeLorean stopped releasing new cars, the guys from the current DMC offer their loyal customers "restoration" of the machine. It is believed that from 9000 produced DeLorianov, about 6000 still exist. But not on the road. Most of them are idle in the backyards and, believe it or not, in the sheds.

DMC is the cars and restores them with the original parts from the Irish factory. Once they collect the "new" machines, which means that they are completely dismantled the car and re-collected from new parts. Along the way, they are installed in the car more modern equipment - iPods, Bluetooth, upgraded interiors, etc. Fans of the "classics" complain, but rather the majority of buyers.

In other words, each DeLorean coming from the factory - a single unique history.

For example ...

03.

This Bill is working on the world's first DeLorianom right-hand drive for the customer from Singapore. Nobody never done, so this alteration requires many days of work, and creative, innovative approach.

04.

So it still looks inside:

05.

And Justin is working on a completely black DeLorianom with all black interior. That, too, no one ever did, but it turns out on-the-very nice.

06.

As for Sarah, this is not a joke. Most DeLorianov rotting on the farms of the Midwest. That this machine a couple of decades stood in the barn, and when the owner pulled it turned out that the rats ate everything inside literally. Rat remains were in the engine, in the pipes under the seats ... EVERYWHERE!

07.

For some reason this reminded me of a scene shot from "Back to the Future II», when the flying DeLorean landed in the alley ...

08.

Just beyond this point is a warehouse ...

As already mentioned, the current owners of DeLorean Motor Co. We bought the entire stock of original spare parts after the closing of the Irish factory in the early '80s. Although they took every last bolt, many details have been completed and now they release to replace them with new ones. All this is stored here in the town of Humble, Texas.

11.

"Gull-wing" - the famous door. The owner's son, Cameron, joked that perhaps his grandchildren will still be selling these doors.

12.

13.

14.

A little-known details. These wheels.

15.

And these taillights. They tell us so much that we decided to use their image in our joint project. Oops, I slip ...

16.

The only detail that was not in the original Photo - This is the front left fender. The truth is they did not come across a single instance that they could not fix it on their own.

17.

Well, why not the rest of history for the next time ...
