After the incident in Nizhny Tagil tank, travels on city roads, the Russians are not surprised. It is quite another to see the German war machine, stuck caterpillars in the garden. This winter, the area resident of Stary Oskol "grew" a powerful tank since World War II.

To look at it closer, drivers stayed on the track and a kilometer stomped on foot. Traces of caterpillars, they were not meant to see. "Royal Tiger" was snow. He fashioned his 27-year-old local resident Dmitry Yankovsky to participate in the contest "Tankovik 2013". Dmitry together with his younger brother Eugene carefully studied drawings and built a war machine in full size. The length of the tank without guns - about seven meters, height - more than three. His tank guys painted the usual automotive paint and gun fashioned from a pipe.

 - We have been doing it for over a month in the evenings after work. The biggest challenge was to coach snow. When started, it was a lot. But he soon began to melt. The tank had to hide in the shade, covering the sun with the help of improvised materials. We barely had time to finish some of the details as they begin to melt. However, the desire to quit was not. At first I just wanted to win the competition, but when they saw that we had something turns out, it was interesting to see it through. I think if you want to blind anyone can tank snow. But we must still be creative. It should be inspired, - says the author of the sculpture Dmitry Yankovsky.

Not knowing that the competition will be extended until mid-March, the brothers were in a hurry. Work on the snow tank guys ended February 26th. In its original form fighting vehicle stood all day. Soon the "King Tiger" wept and overgrown with icicles. Who's left of it a shapeless heap of snow. "Sculptor" Dmitry Yankovsky on this occasion did not disappointed and can not wait to come when the real spring. After his tank he could flip from "photogun" and send photos to the contest. As the judge appreciated the sculpture is not yet known. We hope, "King Tiger" from Stary Oskol impressed not only local residents, but also the jury.
