Curiosity found on Mars soil samples, indicating that the planet once had water. This is the BBC with reference to NASA.

Evidence of the presence of water on the Red Planet have been obtained in the analysis of rock extracted rover on the so-called slab John Klein. It revealed inclusions of clay minerals that could be formed pH-neutral water.

The data obtained, according to scientists, is another argument in favor of what used to Mars could be quite suitable for life. Previously, it has been ground traces of oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur, carbon and hydrogen.

Curiosity mission was launched in August last year. The implementation of the Mars exploration program with the help of this machine has cost the US at 2, 5 billion dollars. According to experts, the most technologically challenging, one of those that has to solve the rover is precisely production prototypes.
