Ferrari has declassified its fastest supercar

Ferrari for a week before the official premiere declassified its fastest road supercar - F12 Berlinetta. The car accelerates to hundreds of 3, 1 second and gaining 200 km / h in 8, 5 seconds. All thanks to a combination of new engine and design features. Futuristic F12 Berlinetta body is made of composite alloys that reduce weight to 1525 pounds. This is 70 kg less in comparison to its predecessor, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. And at the same time - new materials provide greater integrity of the body. Under the hood is 6, 3-liter V12 power of 740 hp - More than in competing Lamborghini Aventador. Engineers from Maranello mercilessly chased supercar in the wind tunnel and managed to achieve drag reduction by 76%. The special design of the hood directs air flow and substantially reduces the drag coefficient. Another innovation in the field of aerodynamics - active system for cooling the brakes. With strong heating drives open air intakes, which simultaneously contribute to a better cooling and further reduce air resistance.
