Former missile hangars

Near the village Minojty in Grodno region until 1997 housed a secret military base, where he kept the missiles with nuclear warheads. After the dissolution of the military unit of Belarusian entrepreneurs took the vacated space for rent and opened the farm to grow oyster mushrooms.

Specialists claim that in the hangars where they grow mushrooms, background radiation is now even lower than in nearby settlements. The company "Ekogriby" organized complete production cycle - from soil preparation to growing mycelium. In the former command bunker equipped laboratory.

Monthly household supplies retail chains Belarus and neighboring countries, 10 thousand tons of mushrooms. They cost 23 thousand Belarusian rubles (2, 7 dollars) per kilogram. Vintage collected here almost every day.

Oyster mushrooms are very nutritious, high-yielding and require minimal care. They are grown on sawdust or cereal straw.
