Solar station Bashny.Net

This spring, near Seville in the operation launched a unique solar plant Gemasolar Power Plant. The station, the maximum capacity of which is 19, 9 MW, will produce 110 gigawatt-hours of energy per year. This was made possible due to the molten salt storage, energy storage from 2600 mirrors. Currently, the station is not running at full capacity, but by 2012, operation to increase to 70%. Energy produced will be enough for 25,000 homes, with reduced CO2 emissions by 30 thousand tons per god.







Construction of the project lasted two years and cost about 410 million dollarov.
