Drift car "Formula 1" in the infrared spectrum (video)

During the traditional Dutch racing holiday Gamma Racing Day 2014, the car of the stable Red Bull performed several drift tricks at the Assen circuit, which are called “making a donut” – to introduce the race car into a controlled skid-slip with a circular rotation around one point.

Shown to the delight of the audience traditional for the winners of the stages of Formula 1 aerobatics were captured by several infrared cameras, including the proprietary device FLIR X6580sc. As a result, it would seem usual for this kind of ring racing spectacle acquired a completely new shade. This was facilitated by the “fire” flame of hot tires and particles of flying rubber, recorded heat from the engine and exhaust system, which managed to make this roller in its own unique way.
