Each year Norway gives England a Christmas tree

This is one of the heart-warming traditions that somewhere in the world met for decades. In gratitude for the assistance of the British armed forces during the Second World War, the Norwegians send annually to London in late November, sawn 50-60-year-old spruce.

Tree delivered by water, is already decorated in traditional Norwegian style with a garland of 500 lights, and then set in the center of the capital to Londoners and visitors were able to enjoy it all the Christmas holidays.
