Giant greenhouse with a waterfall in Singapore Airport

Renowned architect Moshe Safdie (Moshe Safdie) launched a project to build a giant greenhouse with a massive waterfall at its center. The project is being implemented on the territory of the Changi International Airport in Singapore.





The very idea originated within the expansion area of ​​the airport. The Orangery is in the form of transparent dome at the center of which down from a height of 40 meters, falling streams of water. The waterfall is called «Rain Vortex». Around the perimeter of the greenhouse will be several tiers, which will contain not only plants, but also a place for the entry and exit of passengers. On the bottom tier will be located also a food court. Greenhouse, which will combine the three groups of input terminals Airport, scheduled for completion in 2018 year.
