Eco idea Basi Ireland

Original and spectacular idea since 2007 implements Basia Ireland from California. It freezes in ice seeds of various plants and puts lumps on the Rio Grande. Ice melts, and the seeds are spread virtually all over the world from the Gulf of Mexico.

Basi project called «Ice Receding / Books Reseeding», which translates sounds not so interesting, but explains the meaning of the process - "The retreat of the ice / Peresevanie books." By the same word in the context of the theme reseeding carries a double meaning - rebirth and seeding.



Through the launch of seeds into the river we, a group of artists in the composition of 95 people, start restoring watersheds ecological environment. It encourages and demonstration experiments, and the seeds and frozen in ice packs donated by the participants of the experiment, which may continue the process of landing when the book will sail to them.
