Back in 1967 an amateur photographer named William Podlish went with his wife and two daughters for two years in Afghanistan. There, he began teaching at the Higher Pedagogical School in Kabul, as well as an amazing collection of images made peace in Afghanistan, which is very different from the present exhausted 40-year-old war-torn country.
