Soviet military power

In times of war, American artists of the Intelligence Department, drew pictures with images of Soviet military equipment.
All have long been over, but the drawings are preserved in the Smithsonian Aerospace Museum.

From 1981 to 1991, the Pentagon released a glossy booklet entitled "Soviet Military Power". This annual publication, demonstrating the power of the Soviet Union, had its critics believe that the size of the arsenals of the Kremlin and the effectiveness of the Soviet armed forces in it are greatly exaggerated.
