Olympic torch 2012

The Olympic flame went out briefly during the lighting ceremony in Greece, it was the result of a sharp gust of wind, the newspaper The Daily Telegraph. Despite the incident, the ceremony is not interrupted, and the fire was handed over to the first torchbearer.



In the Olympic torch lighting ceremony was attended by 24 girls who represented the priestesses. The fire was lit by the sun's rays by means of mirrors.



Summer Olympic Games will be held in London in August. This city, which has hosted Games in 1948, will be the first place where the fire has visited twice.
