The best satellite photos DigitalGlobe 2012

DigitalGlobe is the global leader in satellite photos. Founded in 1993 under the name WorldView Imaging Corporation, the company was finally renamed to DigitalGlobe in 2002. In 1993, the Ministry of Commerce of the United States has provided DigitalGlobe first license allowing a private enterprise to construct and operate a satellite system to take digital pictures of the Earth with high resolution for commercial sale. Over the past few years, DigitalGlobe is hosting the annual competition to choose the best satellite images. Their experts have combed the vast archives from three satellites (Quickbird, WorldView-1 and WorldView-2) and selected 20 finalists ‘Main Satellite Image 2012‘.
