Feces can not find the dinosaurs because of their ancient ate cockroaches
So believe in Slovakii
Lack of fossilized dinosaur faeces surprised scientists for many years. Slovak researchers believe that the answer can be found in the diet of ancient cockroaches that could eat the waste of life of the dinosaurs millions of years ago.
Using advanced imaging techniques, scientists have discovered particles of wood inside the intestine ancient cockroach, which, in their opinion, could get there with particles of faeces. Cockroaches are one of the dominant teams of insects during the Mesozoic, for example, cockroaches of the now extinct family Blattulidae between 250 million and 65 million years ago, lived near the herbivorous dinosaurs.
Using synchrotron X-ray microtomography, scientists have created a 3D-model of a fossilized cockroach, preserved in a piece of amber found in Lebanon, the age of 120 million years. Cockroach killed during urination, leaving fossilized particles of urine, called coprolites, which contains small pieces of wood.
Since this wood was smooth edges, cockroach could not chew it, and his digestive system was not designed to digest wood. Therefore, scientists believe that the insect feces dined on the eve of herbivorous dinosaurs.
