Mercedes-Benz pulled Audi in the global competition



BMW remain the leading brand in the category of luxury cars. During the first half of 2010, they sold the world's 585,755 vehicles. But Mercedes-Benz and Audi are reversed, becoming the second and third brand, sold at 556,700 and 554,950 vehicles respectively. Global sales of Mercedes increased by 13%, allowing them to push the competitors on one position. His success Mercedes obliged to good demand for machines E and S-class and the rapid growth of the Chinese market. A year ago, in June 4900 they sold cars this year - already 13700. Audi also did not overjoyed to customer appetite of Chinese. In the first half they have implemented more than 100 thousand cars in China. But it did not save the German company from losing positions. Perhaps now they will have to revise its ambitious plans to become a leading manufacturer of premium cars in 2015.
