Ice Festival in South Korea (Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival 2012)
This traditional winter holiday, held in South Korea Gangwon Province. As you know, this is the first province felt by all the harsh winter. The festival lasts almost the whole of January. This year, from 7 to 29 the number.
Over the three-plus weeks, the festival is annually visited by at least one million people. The main event of the festival is definitely considered trout fishing. And it is not just about traditional ice fishing, but fishing with his hands. Given the number of people willing to catch fish in local ponds specially produced dozens of tons of trout. Caught fish cooked immediately grilled or eaten raw.
